Knowing one’s own capabilities, limitations and boundaries, both professional and personal, and putting into skills to combat burnout, will enhance both your and your client’s ability to cope.
This course builds on the Stress Management Module.
Aim of Module
To explore and understand the stages that lead to burnout, what they are and aren’t, how to recognise them and importantly, what to do about them.
Who is this course for?
Anyone wishing to build up their self-awareness and self-care toolkit by:
- extending their understanding of factors leading to burnout; and
- extending their knowledge and skills to combat these factors to avoid burnout.
What will you learn?
At the completion of this course you will have explored:
- sleep and tiredness
- exhaustion
- fatigue
- burnout
- the differences between the four; and
- tools to remain well.
