Self-awareness and self-care are two important attributes of personal wellbeing that should be at the top of the financial mentor’s toolkit. Knowing one’s own capabilities, limitations and boundaries, both professional and personal, and putting into skills to combat burnout, will enhance both your and your client’s ability to cope.

This course builds on the Stress Management Module.

Aim of Module

To explore and understand the stages that lead to burnout, what they are and aren’t, how to recognise them and importantly, what to do about them.

  • extending their knowledge and skills to combat these factors to avoid burnout.

What will you learn?

  • sleep and tiredness
  • exhaustion
  • fatigue
  • burnout
  • the differences between the four; and
  • tools to remain well.
