Systemic Advocacy

Systemic advocacy is when a financial mentor works to address broader issues that affect groups or communities rather than individual clients. This involves identifying patterns of unfair practices, barriers, or inequities in financial systems, policies, or services, and advocating for changes that promote fairness, accessibility, and cultural responsiveness. The goal is to create long-term improvements that benefit multiple clients and strengthen community financial wellbeing.
