Think about your own charity and consider these three very important questions:

  1. Why do people give to your cause?
  2. What is it that you do that stimulates their support?
  3. Why do they give to you as opposed to another similar charity?

This last question is very important because although charities are by definition working for the common good, fundraising is competitive, so you need to know what it is that differentiates you from other similar charities.
